In America's Pacific Northwest, wild salmon are in the fight of their life. |

This message is brought to you by expos4products news
service. Hello, Back in the days of Lewis and Clark, as many as 15 MILLION wild salmon made the annual journey from the Pacific Ocean back to the spot where they were born to spawn. Today, as few as ten thousand salmon return home to the Pacific Northwest's Snake River. The very runs of salmon that saved our American explorers from starvation nearly 200 years ago are now facing extinction themselves. CLICK TO HELP. Wild salmon of the Snake River need your help today! The Columbia & Snake Rivers Campaign is a national collaboration of citizens, conservationists, businesses, and taxpayer advocates working to restore imperiled wild salmon runs in the Pacific Northwest. Recovering this national treasure will require important habitat restoration efforts, including the removal of four dams on the lower Snake River. It will also depend on protecting and restoring healthy habitats throughout this northwest corner of the nation, from key estuaries along the Pacific coast to mountain streams in the legendary Cascade and Rocky mountain ranges. And on behalf of Northwest wild salmon and their rivers, THANK YOU! -------------------------------------------------- The Columbia & Snake Rivers Campaign, a project of Save Our Wild Salmon, works across the nation with citizens, conservation organizations, taxpayer advocates, and commercial and sport fishing groups to protect and restore America's Pacific Northwest wild salmon. | ||
